THE STRUMBELLAS REVEAL NEW SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO
‘WE DON’T KNOW’

‘SPIRITS’ STREAMS OVER 100 MILLION WORLDWIDE

FALL TOUR WITH COLD WAR KIDS STARTS 9/20 IN SAN FRANCISCO

Breakout band, The Strumbellas,  announce their new single ‘We Don’t Know’ alongside a brand new video for the track. The compelling anthem, ‘We Don’t Know’ was recently featured by The CBC in their Olympic montage leading into the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony and is the follow up to the bands #1 hit single, ‘Spirits’, which has streamed over 100 million times worldwide to date. The official video for ‘We Don’t Know’ premiered via Entertainment Weekly and was shot last month in the band’s hometown of Toronto. Just added at KROQ, the track officially impacts Alternative Radio this coming Monday, September 12th, and will be performed for fans across North America this fall while the band is on the road.

The Strumbellas have trail blazed their way through 2016 since the release of their critically acclaimed, chart-topping, foot stomping chart-topping, foot-stomping single, ‘Spirits’, hit the airwaves in January. Not only did ‘Spirits’ reach #1 on the Alternative Radio Chart and Billboard Alternative Songs Chart, the track also achieved #1 in Italy (double platinum), #1 in Canada (platinum), is about to crack the top #10 in Germany (gold), and is one of the top 10 most streamed Rock songs of 2016 worldwide.

Both tracks hail from the band’s new album, Hope, which debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Folk Albums Chart, #9 on the Alternative Albums Chart and #12 on the Rock Albums Chart this past April. The band performed on both Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and have been embraced by critics from The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Forbes and more. The Strumbellas have spent the year touring the world, playing Newport Folk Festival, British Summer Time and Lollapalooza all for the first time with much more to come.

As mentioned above, The Strumbellas will be on tour performing at premiere fall festivals Pilgrimage, Life Is Beautiful and ACL and hitting the road with Cold War Kids starting September 20th in San Francisco. The band will finish things off with an east coast headline run concluding October 30th in Boston. Tickets are on sale now at www.thestrumbellas.ca, full listing below:
